A message from Garrett Turta Chairman of the Board

If you're in the hospitality industry in Alberta's Capital Region, you know the challenges this sector faces.  Present issues include a downturn of the oil sector which has reduced travel-demands, to recent operational burdens such as the introduction of a carbon tax plus increased minimum wages. All this at a time when we're facing increased local hotel capacity -  is forcing all of each of us to work harder and smarter.

The best way to break apart from the pack is to become a member of the Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels Ltd (EDMH).  Our members leverage about $10 million in marketing investments annually. Our hotels are  -

the only ones listed on the Edmonton Tourism website (;
